Leadership
Stephanie E. Farquhar, Ph.D., M.H.S. (she/her) is a qualitative researcher, strategist, and data equity leader who helps mission-driven leaders and teams reclaim the power of data on their terms.
For two decades, she has worked alongside epidemiologists, engineers, and clinicians to reimagine what data can do and who it can serve. Her work bridges research, policy, and leadership development to close unjust gaps in health outcomes and transform decision making.
Dr. Farquhar most recently served as a White House Presidential Innovation Fellow, detailed to the White House Office of Management and Budget. Prior to her federal service, she helped launch Google’s Health Equity team. She also co-founded the Data for Equity initiative at the New York City Health Department, one of the nation’s earliest and most ambitious public sector efforts to challenge biased data systems.
She founded Equitable Data Solutions to help visionary, values-driven leaders unlock the full power of data to amplify their impact, sharpen their strategy, and lead transformative change.
She holds a B.A. from New York University and earned her Ph.D. and M.H.S. from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, where she was a Sylvia and Eddie Brown Community Health Scholar.
