Photography & Recording Release — Rewrite Your Data Story

By attending Rewrite Your Data Story (hereafter "the Event"), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Photography and recording. The Event will be photographed and video-recorded by Stephanie Farquhar, on behalf of Equitable Data Solutions ("EDS"), and by photographers and videographers contracted by EDS. By attending, you consent to being photographed and recorded.

2. Use of likeness. You grant EDS the irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual right to use your image, likeness, and voice — captured in photographs, video, or audio at the Event — for any purpose related to EDS's work, including but not limited to:

  • Marketing and promotional materials

  • Website and social media

  • Print materials, brochures, and books

  • Paid advertising

  • Sales pages and program promotion

  • Press and editorial use

  • Future events and related content

3. No compensation. No payment is owed to you for the use of your image, likeness, or voice. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product.

4. Editing and adaptation. EDS may crop, edit, color-adjust, or otherwise adapt the captured material as needed for its uses.

5. Name use. EDS will NOT publish your full name alongside your image without your separate written consent. First name only may be used in casual contexts (e.g., social media captions) if relevant.

6. Acknowledgment of age. You confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

7. Opt-out. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please email Stephanie at stephanie @ equitabledatasolutions . com at least 48 hours before the Event so we can plan accordingly (e.g., seat you in a position where you won't be in the frame for wide shots). Note: we may not be able to guarantee complete absence from candid background shots in a small room.

8. Removal request. If, after the Event, you wish to have a specific image or video clip of yourself removed from EDS's active marketing materials, contact Stephanie. We'll honor reasonable requests within 30 days, though we cannot recall already-distributed content (printed, posted on platforms outside our control, etc.).
